Today Crockett Jr. High started College Shirt Tuesday, we will wear college T-shirts every Tuesday as part of our college and career readiness program. This initiative allows each class to explore the history and significant facts about the college represented on our shirts. We encourage everyone to participate, as it is a fantastic opportunity to discuss educational pathways and options available for both high school and college. It's an amazing opportunity to share our thoughts as we inspire our students to consider future objectives.

Crockett ISD hosted its Ring of Honor Ceremony on Friday, October 25, 2024. Congratulations to our distinguished inductees: Leroy Brown, Dr. Thelma J. Douglass, Reginald Lockhart, and Robert Mayes.
This week in Coach Hanks' Careers class, junior high students had the opportunity to learn from Marco Hayes, a professional hairstylist with over 30 years of experience. They explored the various aspects of cosmetology and gained valuable insights. Overall, the students had a fantastic time!

The Bulldogs Cross Country team competed in the UIL Region III Regional Championship. As a team overall they placed 9th out of 24 teams with 313 points. The boys did amazing today with all of them breaking PR(personal records). Not only were they Varsity District Champs. But they are also Regional Qualifiers. We are only losing our 3X Regional Qualifier Senior Nathan Morales. Staying are Sophomores Ethan Quintero, Jaden Quintero, Steven Millhouse, Victor Cruz and Freshman Omar Guzman. Thank you everyone who’s come out to support us. The boys worked so hard this season and it has 100% shown! Best season yet for our Crockett Bulldogs Cross Country. As a team we like to send a big shout out to our soon departing Senior Nathan Morales “Thank you for all your dedication and hard work these past 4 yrs. Crockett ISD Homecoming Parade is Friday,, October 25, 2024 at 4PM in Downtown Crockett. We will have early dismissal for the students and staff at noon, so that they can all attend.
CISD Parenting Workshop Week # 1. Parents learned about valuable parenting qualities. Each week we will gain resources to boost our children's success. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 28, 2024 at 8am. Meetings are held at the Administrative Office Building.
