"Happy National Oreo Cookie Day! Today, Ms. Drake's High School Intro to Business students dove into the sweet history of Oreo, learning about its iconic brand, marketing strategies, and evolution over the years. Of course, no lesson would be complete without a taste test. Students sampled a variety of flavors and put their business minds to work analyzing what makes Oreo such a timeless favorite. Which flavor was the class favorite? Let’s just say, the original Oreo wins hands down. The most disliked flavor - Java Chip.

Crockett FFA participated in their first of many HLSR events happening this month. FFA members participated in guiding students around Ag Ventures and sharing their knowledge of agriculture with others. Crockett FFA members Craneishia Bean, Diana Gomez, and Arieanna Galcia spoke to 100s of people about lambs and goats. As a collective group they placed 3rd bringing home some hardware!
FFA members also got the opportunity to meet with people from Australia who are creating a farming simulator video game, in which our students got to be some of the first to try it out, and give feedback!

Hello FFA Supporters!!
Crockett ISD has many students who participate in our county fair, and for many of them, their participation is not limited to just animals. Their projects might include floral, artwork, woodworking, and even baking. These students not only put in hours of work towards these projects but also many personal dollars.
Every year, the projects are auctioned off at the fair for the public to purchase. In the last 3 years, we have had a Crockett ISD Buyers Group, which helps us ensure that EVERY CISD student with a project receives some money from the funds collected. We take the money collected and do ‘add-ons’ for every student to ensure ALL CISD students get rewarded.
Now that the fair is just a few days away, we would like to start raising money for this opportunity to support our kids. Donations of any size are welcome! The auction is on Saturday, April 5th, so we must collect all donations by this Friday, April 4th. All donations can be submitted to Crockett ISD FFA Buyers Group at the Crockett ISD Administrative Office.
Thank you in advance for your support of our students!
