Crockett ISD would like to invite all of our students and staff to the second annual Mary Allen Museum's Fun Day. Please join in for an afternoon of fun, food, games, prizes, and a concert!

Bulldog parents,
We would like to thank the students and parents that shared their concerns today about the threat at the Junior High. We will use this feedback to continue improving our communication.
All threats are taken seriously, no matter how seemingly minor. We have several safety protocols and measures for any potential threat. The school district and local law enforcement work hand and hand to assess and respond to threats. As a result, this threat was promptly dealt with.
Unfortunately, these events become amplified by rumors and misinformation. Please work with us by directly sharing any information regarding potential threats. We ask our students, staff, and parents to report concerns directly to campus administration.
We are looking forward to a great day tomorrow at Crockett ISD!

Parents, guardians and community members:
Crockett ISD is currently conducting a state-required active shooter drill.
This is a DRILL - not an actual event. There will NOT be any shooting simulations.
Keep in mind:
-Law enforcement will be present and visible on our campuses to assist.
-As part of the drill, all campuses will be in a lockout mode, and visitors will not be allowed to enter.
-Silence is part of the safety protocol, so for a brief period, our phones will not be answered, and we ask that you do not call your students during the drill.
Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to do our part to keep your students safe.

Crockett ISD has been made aware of rumors that have been circulating regarding a threat via social media. At this time there is no evidence of a threat. Security is present and as always the safety of our students is a top priority.
Remind your students that any information regarding school safety should be shared immediately with administrators. Posting threats on social media is a serious crime. Students making threats of any kind will be disciplined to the full extent in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is conducting its annual survey of parents of children receiving special education services to learn more about how school districts are engaging families in their child’s education. This year, some Crockett ISD families were selected to participate. As of now, if you were selected, you would have received your student’s name and pin number to access the survey. Surveys will be accepted through May 19, 2023. The district and the TEA would appreciate your participation. In closing, if you have a student that receives special education services and did not receive an email or letter with a pin number, the TEA did not select you as a participant this year. Thank you for helping the district with this matter.
